The key beneficiaries of PFP after the private tree growers are the wood-processing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Programme area. The support will be given at two levels: as training to all interested companies, and as incubation and business development services to a few selected enterprises per year.

A training sawmill will be established in the Southern Highlands region to support in the training activities. The sawmill will be equipped with modern but reasonably priced machinery and equipment that fill the local sawmilling needs and are available to local enterprises.
