Instructions for selected VETA level students

These are the instructions for those selected to the VETA-level tuition at FTI, Arusha and FITI, Moshi. The selected applicants will first have a meeting with PFP officials in Mafinga, during which their certificates will be checked.

The selected applicants are requested to come to the parking lot of CF Hall in Mafinga on Friday, June 2nd by 2pm. Transportation to the meeting place (Forestry and Wood Industries Training Centre) will be organized from there.

The transportation from village to Mafinga is the responsibility of the candidates, the travel costs will NOT be compensated. A small DSA will be paid for overnighting in Mafinga.

Note that ALL selected applicants MUST bring their ORIGINAL secondary school certificates and birth certificates with them for checking. Those who come without their original birth certificate or secondary school certificate will have to return back home, no compensation will be paid and they will not be allowed in the transportation to Arusha and Moshi.

Note that also the training institutes will check the secondary school certificates from national level authorities to ensure that they are correct and unaltered, so there is no chance for altering certificates.

At the meeting, all selected applicants will be required to sign a contract that stipulates their responsibilities and commitment to training.

Please see following instruction letters from each institute. Read the instructions from your institute carefully (FTI instructions for forestry students and FITI instructions for wood processing students) and follow them in detail. If anything is unclear, please call Julius Sonoko at PFP.

PFP wishes successful training for all selected candidates!
